There's just something special about a red dog.

Weight: 45 to 70 pounds
Coat: short and smooth
Life span: 10 to 12 years
Breed Group: Hounds
These medium-sized hounds have a gorgeous red coat, the pleading expression common to hounds everywhere, and a sweet voice that sings out when they're on the hunt. However, they also bark a lot when they're not on the hunt, and take a lot of patience to train.
