Adoption Process:
TLC does not use application forms, so there is nothing you need to fill out prior to visiting the Shelter. The Shelter staff will talk to you about adopting an animal and how you will care for it. You will be approved or denied based on your response (we only want what is best for the animal and you and your family).
When you come in looking for a pet, you must bring your children. If interested in adopting a puppy or dog please bring any other dogs so we can see how they interact.
If you rent an apartment or own a condominium, you must bring a copy of your lease or your condominium bylaws stating that you are able to have pets on the premises. We need proof of where you live : drivers license, utility bill etc
Adoption Fees:
Dog and puppy adoptions fees vary from $300.00 or $500.00 depending on if we have had to pay for spaying and neutering. All dogs and pups will be microchipped at time of adoption. Vaccinations will be included appropriate for the age of the dog/puppy along with wormings.
Cat and kitten adoptions $200.00, or $300.00 depending on if the we have had to pay for spaying or neutering
