We call it the "freedom ride" for animals in dire need of rescue, sitting in overcrowded shelters, and running out of time.  These dogs and cats have little to no chance for adoption, where they are at, but it takes money to save them.   To help them click the donate button below.  Each $20.00 donation enables us to save one more animal, and get it on board the Freedom Ride.... a life saving trip to a new beginning.

Treeing Walker Coonhound
This offshoot of the English Coonhound is famous for his ability to hustle a raccoon or possum right up a tree.

Weight: 45 to 80 pounds
Coat: smooth and shiny
Life span: 12 to 13 years
Breed Group: Hounds
The Treeing Walker has a short, clear bark and a passion for the hunt. Some are shy, some are confident, but they're all hounds--meaning, they need patient training and plenty of exercise.
